The TC Beirne School of Law is currently offering the Leadership, Excellence and Diversity (LEAD) Scholarship to deserving students from disadvantaged backgrounds who intend to study an undergraduate law program at UQ. For 2018 entry up to 17 LEAD scholarships are available, granting students $7,000 per year for up to five years in financial support, in addition to one-on-one academic support and other benefits.

From 2018, UQ Business School will offer a Bachelor of Advanced Business (Honours). This elite program will help students become critical and reflective thinkers, capable of identifying, analysing and developing solutions for the complex challenges facing businesses in the 21st century.

UQ School of Economics Scholarships
Applications are now open for two invaluable scholarship opportunities at the UQ School of Economics: The Year 12 Domestic Australian Scholarship and The Year 12 Equity and Diversity Scholarship.
The Year 12 Domestic Australian Scholarship is for outstanding Australian domestic students who are completing Year 12 studies. The successful candidate will receive a $5,000 bursary each year for three years. Applications close 3 November 2017.

UQ Support for international students under 18 years of age
If you have international students who will be aged 17 at the time they will commence their studies at UQ, The University of Queensland Student Services offers a supervision program which approves the accommodation, support and general welfare of unaccompanied international students under 18 years of age.
Applicants under the age of 18 will be identified in the admission process and an offer of admission will be conditional on the applicant submitting a completed International Student Supervision registration form signed by the applicant and their parent/legal custodian.
If the University accepts responsibility for accommodation and welfare arrangements, a Confirmation of Appropriate Accommodation and Welfare (CAAW) alongside a Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE) letter will be issued, so applicants can then apply for a student visa: .
